1. Introduction

Sandler Digital Advisory LLC, doing business as The Viable Edge ("we," "our," or "us"), respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you visit viableedge.com or use Brand Architect, our AI brand strategy service (together, the "Services").

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account and Contact Information

When you create an account, subscribe, join the newsletter, or contact us, we collect information such as your name, email address, and password (stored as a secure hash by our authentication provider).

2.2 Brand Content You Provide

Ophelia works from the materials you give it: your website URL and its content, answers you give in agent conversations, documents and business details you share, and the brand documents the Services generate and maintain for you. Treat this as business information you intend to develop strategy from; do not submit data you are not allowed to share.

2.3 Payment Information

Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive subscription status and billing metadata; we do not store your full card number.

2.4 Usage and Device Information

We automatically collect usage data such as IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, referring site, and product usage events (for example, when a build starts or completes), using cookies and similar technologies. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

3. AI Processing of Your Content

The Services are AI-powered. To build and maintain your brand documents, the content you provide (including your website content and conversation answers) is processed by large language models operated by Anthropic, our AI provider, under commercial API terms. Per those terms, Anthropic does not use our API data to train its models. We do not use your brand content to train models of our own, and we do not sell it.

4. How We Use Your Information

• Provide, operate, and improve the Services
• Generate and maintain your brand documents
• Process subscriptions and payments
• Send transactional email (account confirmation, login links, receipts, service notices)
• Send marketing email you signed up for (you can unsubscribe at any time)
• Understand product usage and fix problems
• Prevent abuse and enforce usage limits
• Comply with legal obligations

5. Who We Share It With (Subprocessors)

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that run the Services:

• Anthropic (AI model processing of the content you provide)
• Supabase (database, authentication, and storage)
• Vercel (application hosting)
• Stripe (payment processing)
• Postmark (transactional email delivery)
• Kit (newsletter and marketing email)
• Google Analytics and Mixpanel (site and product analytics)

We may also disclose information if required by law, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (in which case this policy continues to apply to your data).

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your account and brand data while your account is active so the Services can keep your knowledge base current. If you cancel a subscription, your data is retained so you can pick up where you left off if you return. You can request deletion of your account and associated brand data at any time by emailing adam@viableedge.com; we will delete it within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal, billing, or security reasons. Exports you downloaded remain yours.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, email adam@viableedge.com. Marketing email always includes an unsubscribe link; transactional email (like login links) is sent as part of operating your account.

8. Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, row-level access controls on stored data, and least-privilege access. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

9. Children

The Services are for business use and are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email or an in-product notice before they take effect, and the date above will always reflect the current version.
